Save Sea LifeHey there! My name is Lidea, and I founded the nonprofit Save Sea Life when I was 8 years old. My mission is to educate kids from a young age to love the oceans so that they can protect it!I create handmade bracelets from upcycled plastic bags to help keep plastic out of the ocean and protect sea turtles. I also make one-of-a-kind upcycled trash art from items collected during beach cleanups to show how much of an impact we have on our oceans! In addition to my art, I’ve written two books to educate and inspire kids about conservation. Wave: A Sea Turtle’s Story, which has sold over 1,000 copies, and my newest book is an Endangered Sea Life Coloring Book - which features critically endangered animals like the Vaquita & North Atlantic Right Whale - my hope is that more people will Learn about these animals & help protect them Every dollar I make goes directly toward my mission: donating cleanup stations to schools and speaking to students about protecting our planet. My goal is to get cleanup stations in schools in every state across America! I also host monthly public beach cleanups and raise money for other ocean nonprofits!
