Boat Parade
Originally intended to bless fishing boats for a safe and successful season, this tradition has evolved to mark the unofficial start of summer. Today, vessels of all kinds are invited to take part and celebrate, bringing the Thunderbolt Blessing of the Fleet to life on the Wilmington River.
